Andrienne Kowalski

Adrienne’s yoga journey started when she was working in the financial industry and trying to find relaxation through movement. Enjoying both the mental and physical aspects of yoga, she became a regular practitioner at a studio near her home in the Catskills. After retiring, Adrienne traveled to Costa Rica, studied at Inner Sea Yoga Academy and became a certified yoga instructor to help others find balance, relaxation, a new way to move, and to discover whatever yoga may mean to them.

“What I learn from yoga practice is what I teach in yoga classes. Iyengar Yoga practice evolves from outer movement going into asanas to “inner action” within a particular asana. Inner action of body and mind leads to breath awareness. The union of body, breath and mind deepens and expands awareness”
