There is a large eat-n in kitchen, a screened-in back porch , a steam shower and a firepit in the back yard where you can lounge in an Adirondack chair and listen to the stream.
The back porch and back lawn of the apartment overlooks the Tremperskill, where you can wade or bath on a hot day. A number of folks catch brown trout in the stream from April though June and we encourage fishing throughout the area including the Pepacton Reservoir approximately 6 miles south of the village of Andes on County Rt 1.
You’ll find us easy to get to–just 3 hours from the GW Bridge. As Andes is served by Adirondack Trailways you can come up with out a car. Within walking distance you’ll find wonderful hiking on The Andes Rail Trail (4 miles), swimming at the Andes Pool and Tennis at the High school. Also you delight in discovering new antiques at The Tin Horn.
Yoga classes are available next door at Streamside Yoga and if you like to draw there is figure drawing there every Wednesday from 4 to 7 pm.
When you’re ready for food and drink, you can relax enjoy yourself at Wayside Cider, The Andes Hotel or Dragonfly.
Golf is 10 miles away in Delhi. Andes is also about an hour south of the National Baseball Hall of Fame. We hope you’ll make Streamside your home base when exploring all that Andes, Delaware County and the Catskills has to offer.
